Let’s face it, once you become gluten free you fall into this cadence of eating ‘safe’ foods over and over again. Flipping through cookbooks, Pinterest or the latest copy of Food & Wine is something that is less exciting than hopping into the dentist chair. You have a series of fifteen, maybe twenty if you’ve been doing this for a while, of ‘go-to’ dishes. People who are gluten free don’t want to compromise quality, flavor or fun. Out of this dilemma, and my passion for cooking, was the decision to create Gluten Free Food Box. GFFB is a subscription based service where members will receive a box in the mail every month with delicious (they’ve been tested) gluten free products, recipes for each product and the occasional sample. There are many times when you are standing in the store and come across the ‘newest’ gluten free food item; it is a complete gamble as to whether or it will be disgusting or if it will become your favorite and last more than a week on your store's shelves. Gluten Free Food Box is a community where people can showcase what they’ve made with the inspiration of products in their boxes. The recipes cards that are included in the boxes are only to get the ideas rolling – the products can and should be used like a blank canvas.
The GFFB team spends days, weeks (even months) testing every product that goes into our boxes for quality. We believe that finding quality gluten-free products that your entire family will love (even the ones without a wheat intolerance) is the most important part of Gluten Free Food Box.
